Social media has changed the number of opportunities that all of us have for socialization. But disrespecting the power of social networks can put your relationships in the dog house. Here are just a few ways that Facebook, Twitter, and other forms of social media can put your relationships in jeopardy.
1) Old hookups just keep on a-lurking:
Back in the day, your ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend just disappeared forever. You could move on easily because they, for all intents and purposes, no longer existed. Now, the entire Hall of Fame of your dating history is just a click or two away. Even worse, the persistent old flings may keep trying to remind you of all the reasons why they made your toes curl in the first place. The minute your relationship hits a weak spot, the door is wide open.
