Now the hardened criminals of the world apparently consist of those who burp louder than they should. A 13-year old boy was arrested in Albuquerque, New Mexico for allegedly burping during class. His lawsuit claims that after he “burped audibly,” his teacher called the resource officer, who then had the boy arrested for “interfering with public education.”
It’s been many, many years since I’ve attended grade school but if this arrest sticks I’m moving to Mexico because when I was the 7th grade I did much worse than burp loudly in class.
Once again, Biblical Scripture comes to mind, as follows: “…professing themselves to be wise, they became fools…” Why would a studnet and on what grounds would a student be arrested for burping, instead of being sent to the nurse’s office and/or the Principal’s office? And, once again, the book: “the Deliberate Dumbing Down of America”… comes to mind, authored by Charlotte Thomson Iserbyte… Lastly, prayer does need to be put back into the schools…also, and ASAP!
I Total Agree! I’m in shock the kid was arrested for “Burping” loudly in the class; sometime you can’t help it and the child probably said excuse me, which that was not good enough so he was arrested, how sad this is; sorry to say most of these teachers are not discipline themeselves, enough said….I thank god when I was in school “Prayer” was in school and it was fun growing up, Prayer makes a difference you just can’t live life without, that’s why we have to teach our children how to pray when we get up every day & walk out that front door you can be prepare for what’s in front of you even at school…Life is not easy but if you put “GOD” first it will be so easy and peaceful..
Why are they arresting all these young Black kids for petty things….they would never do this in the white schools…….
It appears as though this is another case of dumb (the teacher)and dumber (the resource officer), or someone just wanted to use this as an excuse to have the child arrested. My question is why? Don’t theses people have better things to do with their time, or is racism so rampant that they will use anything as an excuse?
This is ridiculous!!! Some of these so called teachers need to be removed. I guess she/he has never burped loudly or for that matter, farted loudly. Stop with the insanity and teach the children. Even if he did it on purpose, this was no reason to have him arrested. What are you teaching the children???
AGREE! The more you hear about this in the news something so minder should be handle in the princple office, It don’t seem like there’s a princple office anymore; it’s always child getting arrested for something should be handle behind close doors with the parents & school teacher, But Hey no one wants to be bother just throw the child in a cop car and send them on to jail, this need kind of behavior needs to “STOP”, instead the law should tell the school system please don’t call us out for this, we have bigger problems. I would not write this on a police report it’s just “FOOLISHNESS” so embrassed I can’t believe the school will aloud this teacher to stir up something so petty, she needs some “DISCIPLINE” herself not the child…
They are subliminal telling them they are criminals…..They need to get better teacher in our community…..they bring all the reject in the inner city community because they are not up to par to teach in their own community….so they bring these unqualified teacher with their prejudice and issues with the kids…
So, any thing they do they want to call the police…because they don’t like the Black kids anyway…..so they take it out on them……they have a failing attitude before they even start teaching the kids…they don’t care….
then on the other hand you got these bad ass kids…that is unteachable who disturbs the class
