Deceased Megapastor’s Wife Turned Away from Her Husband’s Church

It appears that the drama is unfolding down in Orlando.   Riva Tims, wife of deceased pastor Zachery Tims, has been fighting to run the church that she and her husband founded in 1996, the New Destiny Christian Center.  But Pastor Paula White was chosen to run the church, leading to a major divide in the church’s ranks.

The church planned to announce their new leader on January 1.  According to various media sources, a survey was sent out to church members asking them if they want Paula White to be their new pastor.  The problem was that no other names were offered for consideration.
