After rumours of police brutality over how an arrested teen ended up in a coma, a shocking video of the girl choking herself with a seat-belt in a patrol car was shown to the media.
The cruiser camera video – which has not been released for the public to see – recorded the crucial moments which left Tanisha Williams, 18, brain dead after she was arrested in North Carolina four weeks ago.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department showed the brutal footage from the night of December 5 to reporters and the teenager’s attorney.
Her grandmother is expected to view it today, reports the Charlotte Observer.
This should be interesting how this turns out.
If her hands are handcuffed, presumably behind her back, though it doesn’t say, how his she able to wrap a seat belt around her head three times and it be neat enough for no one to see it. How is she able to do it period? I guess anythings possible, but I hope they really look at the video since it was leaked to the press before the parents. I hope the someone has a lawyer just in case things are a little fishy. Having not seen the tape, but looking at things something smells.
