Inmate sues Rikers for $80M for forcing him to eat so fast his stomach exploded

Staten Island resident Michael Isolda once weighed a whopping 460 pounds, but after lifesaving gastric bypass surgery in 2008, he was able to slink down to 160.His surgery requires him to eat food slowly, having to chew for longer periods of time in order to stay alive.

However, while being incarcerated in New York’s Rikers Island Jail, he says he was forced to shovel down his meals in four-minute intervals that made his stomach explode – and he wants $80million for the damage done to his digestive system.
