A woman in Rock Hill, South Carolina called police after she found out that her ex-boyfriend had been living in her attic for weeks. The woman said that she and her children are afraid to sleep in the house alone after the incident, and it’s hard to blame them.
The woman said that her boyfriend is still on the loose, so she’s afraid to reveal her name to the public. But she says that she discovered what her old boyfriend was doing when she saw nails coming out of the roof. He’d laid down the wrong way and made the nails come out of the ceiling.
“Then all the nails just popped out of the ceiling over my bed. Like ‘bing, bing, bing,'” she said.
The woman thought that the sound came from an animal, so she told her sons to go check it out. That’s when they found out that it was actually her ex-boyfriend.
“They found a man. He had packed all the old coats and jackets into the heating unit and was sleeping in the heating unit,” she said.
The woman immediately called police, but the boyfriend was gone when they got there. They also noticed that the man had set up the vents so that he could see into the woman’s bedroom. The woman says that she broke off the relationship with the man years ago, but had invited him to do work inside her house.
